Creating History in Singapore!

I love how Steve Maraboli said it so allow me to quote, Being healthy is a way of life. It's not just about what you feed your body; it's about what you feed your mind and the social environment you keep. Make healthy food choices, exercise your body and brain, and choose your friends wisely. I'm grateful for the opportunity to create history with my Spartan Transformation team in Singapore as we saw a preview of what's next for all of us, for the program and most importantly for the people whose lives we will be transforming in the coming years. So much work needs to be done and knowing that I have this growing team to work with, the possibilities are endless!  If you want to know more about this super amazing program, I'm just an email away! :D

Leadership Books

Woohoo! Who's on a roll? 2 posts in one sitting? Wow! Haha, since I'm already in the writing mode, I'd like to share the books recommended er, required in our Spartan coaches' team. The thing with required readings is that it saves you time of knowing what's a good read and it caters to specific concerns. #geekstuff Ah, I've truly changed (or grown.) From the person who wants to be different to a compliant follower.Yeah it took a looong time and I'm just grateful to be in this space of learning and unlearning. Starting off with the first of three! Here's the hunky Joel Osteen gracing my blog. I'm now on my nth round of this book, I Declare: 31 Promises to Speak over your Life. It's not something that you finish in one sitting. Perfect for the busiest of the busy. It sets my day to be great. That's it. And I like that it requires participation. It's a declaration so it has to be heard out there . It's not something that you keep in...

The Fault in our Stars

What was the last book that you read? Now that we're 40 days away from creating history, I feel guilty for devoting my time to finishing The Fault in our Stars in 2 days. It was a book (an e-book in my case) that I couldn't put down and just had to finish the soonest possible time so I could resume my life. haha. This is the reason why I don't watch TV because the series just gets you hooked. At least books have a deadline, depending on how fast you can read. I'm not really writing this to summarize or critic or note down what I learned. There's a lot of that in google. :) In the past years, reading novels (or material irrelevant to my business like fashion magazines) have become an indulgence for me. See, my business is like a baby that I need to attend to. In the same way that Isay is always my top priority, anything that is not aligned with being a good parent (at least what I know of it), I don't do. Roy (ze hubby) is the only person who knows that I rea...

Dropping by to Say Hello

Image
Wow, my last post was Valentine's day? tsk tsk. I guess it's an indication that so much has been happening in my life. I'm currently enjoying bigger responsibilities in the Spartan Transformation team and seeing more and more lives change for the better because of what we do. Say hello as well to the countdown timer on my sidebar. What's up with the remaining 72 days? Something HUGE is gonna happen and I couldn't be more excited to be part of it. The hashtag #createhistory couldn't be more fitting. Aaaaah! Basta , it's really going to be exciting. Not really fond of science but biogenetics is now music to my ears. (*'▽'*)♪ No less than great news for both people who simply want to achieve their healthiest form and those looking into a huge and sustainable business partnership. Can't help smiling just writing about it. :) What's keeping you busy nowadays?

First V-Day Concert

Image
Roy and I never really make Valentine's Day plans so it doesn't come as a surprise that I'd be watching my first-ever Hearts' Day concert with my bestfriend Maanne. haha! I'm really excited because it's always a good time with her and Nyoy is one talented artist. Buti na lang at pre-Valentine ito para should something come up on Valentine's Day itself, nandito lang ako sa tabi-tabi. ;)

My First Leather Purchase

Image
Ooooh, what a mature post title. Haha! I wasn't really set on buying a wallet because I was ok with just using a pouch. Until I realized that it's taking me a lot of time going through the pouch before I find the card, cash, coin or old receipt that I need. Talk about efficiency concerns. My eyes were really set on purchasing my first leather bag but that would be part of another post. Let's just say that this is the delaying-gratification phase.  :D Now back to the wallet. I could just purchase something cute or fazyon but then I remembered what happened to the last one I bought. Barely a year into use (and partida not so much abuse), and it looked like this. And so I thought why not go leather with my wallet as well? I never really understood why Roy would spend a thousand pesos for a belt when I bought mine for P50 in Greenhills. Now I truly appreciate its value and if you're not so particular on the brand, the cost is even cheaper than the leatherettes and Class ...

Something to Do, to Love and to Hope for

Today is December 31, 12:55 pm. I don't know what entered my mind when I thought of making a year-ender blog. I thought, hey it's all Spartan Transformation this year anyway so that should be fairly easy. Then, I scanned through my timeline photos on Facebook and my Instagram and realized that it could be an overwhelming task after all. After the initial discouragement I suddenly remembered my "About Me" on Twitter at nabuhayan ako ng loob. ^^ Now that would make writing this one simpler. I stated there: The grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. Life is beautiful! 2013 was all about being a space for happiness and seeing that life is indeed beautiful. SOMETHING TO DO Now this is where my current roles come in. "Coach Kristine" - December 2011 marked our Day 1. 2012 was about creating our own results and 2013 was translating it for everybody else. I listed down the names and was happily su...
