Taking a quick break from all the Spartan Transformation excitement and be kikay for a few minutes. Do you need a simple trick to look polished and different without looking too made up? Define your brows! Discovering what works for you is a process and there are hundreds of tutorials on YouTube for the how-tos. There are also hundreds of products - from pencils to liquids, powder to mascara and my favorite beauty bloggers are constantly on the look-out for great finds. I think I'm blessed with fairly good brows. Not the envy-worthy full brows that just need a bit of tweezing here and there but at least mine are not unruly. They're pretty easy to manage with the help of tweezers and some know-how on the arch/ shape that works with my face shape. How important are brows anyway? Megamall would always mean eating at Masuki for me and Roy. :) Being a girl, I chose to have dessert at the SM Department Store beauty counters and treated my eyes to sweet treats called makeup. Lol. I had no plans of buying that time but then again, I've been thinking of getting a new shade and somehow wanted to own violet   lipstick so I checked out the Max Factor counter and there it was, waiting for me. (right.) "Mosaic Mauve" Photos taken using Galaxy Y camera Turns out that the violet shade that I liked came with a pair through Max Factor's Flipstick Colour Effect. I wasn't really a fan of pink and frost, what more pa pink frost? First because I'm not the fairest of them all for pink haha! and second, this shade of pink doesn't complement my yellowish teeth. Small price to pay for having that perfect violet lippie. Also, the flipstick was designed for the 2 shades to be worn separately or blended together or even hombre'd pero di ko pa ya...

Did I tell you in my previous post that I'm excited to dress up my new haircut with makeup? So here it is, a new blush shade! Well, I'm not really into collecting makeup most especially blush. Nagkataon lang na nabasag ang primrose blush ko because I allowed Isay to play with it. hay. When will I learn? Kaya ayan, when we were in Megamall last Saturday, I thought of buying a not-so-expensive blush. I've always been curious with Ellana products that were displayed near the supermarket. Kakaiba lang that it's always been there so I checked out its products and saw that the price of the blush is reasonable. I was quite clear on what I wanted kaya ang bilis ko lang nakapili. Clarity leads to power (and quick shopping) talaga. lol. I wanted to have a reddish brown shade and I found it in Ellana's Affection. What more could I ask for, it's rose, it's wine, it's sheer and it's matte! Niliteral ba masyado ang label? Sabi ko namang I'm no cosmetics expert...

There comes a point in a girl's life that she gets bored with her hair. Well I really can't speak for all the women out there so to correct that previous statement, there comes a point in my life when I just want to chop off my hair. I resisted that boredom in December by having it colored to a red-brown shade. It gave me a slightly different look and according to the husband, my new hair color matched how I would line my brows with a brown pencil. lol. 3 months after, hindi na naman ako mapakali.
