My Husband's Spartan Transformation

Image
It's one thing to experience my own success and another thing to have my loved ones experience it as well. 3 months just seemed to fly by and here I am now sharing the success of my husband! *loud applause* I'm grateful to him for allowing me to enroll him in the program. Just like me before starting, he didn't see the urgency of enrolling because he could still get away with being overweight. No particular illness yet except for the pain in his feet and general discomfort when walking long distances. Now, he feels so much younger and looking much younger too! Here are his official 90-day success photos. :) Without exercise and starving, he achieved the following milestones: > total weight loss: 24.4 lbs > body fat loss: 11.7 lbs > body age: 7 years younger > killer visceral fat: 4 levels down > total of 5.5 INCHES trimmed from waist-hip measurements Amazing right? I'm so grateful to the whole Spartan Transformation family for cont...

Creating History in Singapore!

I love how Steve Maraboli said it so allow me to quote, Being healthy is a way of life. It's not just about what you feed your body; it's about what you feed your mind and the social environment you keep. Make healthy food choices, exercise your body and brain, and choose your friends wisely. I'm grateful for the opportunity to create history with my Spartan Transformation team in Singapore as we saw a preview of what's next for all of us, for the program and most importantly for the people whose lives we will be transforming in the coming years. So much work needs to be done and knowing that I have this growing team to work with, the possibilities are endless!  If you want to know more about this super amazing program, I'm just an email away! :D

I Said Goodbye to my Bloated Face

Image
Sharing here in my blog my latest achievement, fnally getting rid of my "manas" or bloated face! ♥ Since this is MY blog, lemme say that I look equally beautiful. Right? Well, you may disagree but yes I've always seen myself as ok and sometimes pretty pag natatapatan ng tamang angle. I've always been grateful to be in the anti-aging business for the past 5 years and that's helped a lot when it comes to maintaining great skin. The Spartan Transformation allowed me to look and feel good both inside and out. More importantly, I love how I could translate my results to other people. I have more thoughts on this but I can't seem to make coherent statements at the moment. lol. For now, celebrate with me, will you? =)

How I Lost 30 pounds: My Spartan Transformation Experience

Image
My primary reason for enrolling in the Spartan Transformation Program was business but then I realized, who am I kidding? Wouldn't it be great to bring back the "glory days" when I could wear nice-fitting clothes and have the energy of a college student? I also thought that it would be exciting to conceive again with a healthier body so the next step was to get me that package. Initial Doubts 1. We didn't have the extra money for the package. 2. Will this work for ME?? The Kristine who loves to eat sweets and refined carbs + drink Kopiko with them each time?  No one really saves up for weight loss. Aminin, we always have that thinking that somehow, we can get away with leading an unhealthy lifestyle AND somehow lose weight when the time is right. So we work hard, "reward" ourselves with what we earn on unhealthy habits then when sickness happens, we use our hard-earned money to get better, only to return to our old ways. So for me, it was mo...

Ako? Mataba? Excuuuuze me.

People would always know me as someone who’s bakla, confident, fun-loving and free-spirited. I have this habit of trivializing things and the need for a punchline when things get “too serious.” This may probably be one of the reasons why being overweight is not too big of an issue for me because I can get away with it. My confidence is not diminished by my size. Keri lang ba. I remember back in highschool when I always get the role of moms and donyas and I was good at it because I can’t relate to the “smaller” roles. hehe. I managed to be slim in college when there were lack of funds for food, there was a very hectic (and active) schedule and there was a  decision  to lose weight. It was a success! As a result, I had my first boyfriend when I was 18. Yiheee. Then adulthood happened. I was busy and stagnant at the same time, I had money for a gym subscription but I also had money for food, and Starbucks and office lunch-outs and emotional food trips and everything nice...
